This is absolutely a stunning piece... I get sucked into the balance of the creature against her background every time I see this. The bright threads do so much to portray light and positive energy, but they manage to, while remaining a focus, not detract even the tiniest bit from the whole.

And everything fits. You've been able to take very dramatically different types of elements and gently prod them to settle into place, and the result looks surprisingly natural.
